A Day in the Life is a 24-hour virtual visit into the lives of the Spoon Crew — our team, our friends, and some of your favorite wellness experts. We’re giving you the all-access key to what they eat, what they do, and how they keep feeling their best, day-in and day-out.

This week, we’re spending the day with yogi, health guru, and outdoor adventurer, Arielle Shipe.

When I’m headed out for a full day like this one, I always try to have a big breakfast! My go-to when I have time is a big bowl of oatmeal with blueberries and bananas.

My first stop of the day is Aspen Highlands to hike the Highlands bowl. I like to have snacks and water in my backpack just in case. Usually, I have some sort of bar or a grab-and-go smoothie from Splendid Spoon! It’s seriously the best treat when you reach the top!

Then I’m headed home for a quick lunch and turn around to get out for a walk with my puppy, Tabor, before we lose the light! Having a Splendid Spoon soup is the perfect lunch to fuel me for another adventure while getting me in and out of my house quickly.

Afternoons are where I dig into my computer work. As a social media content creator and health business owner, I spend a lot more time on the computer than my social media might lead you to believe. I’m usually plugged into my laptop at least a couple of hours every day.

I like to finish my day with a big/nourishing dinner with LOTS of veggies. Lately, my go-to is a nourishing bowl packed with broccoli, sweet potato, and brussels sprouts served over rice and topped with two fried eggs. I season it with coconut aminos so it tastes like a healthy version of fried rice!

With a career like mine, every day is a little bit different but I definitely live my life with a work hard, play hard mentality so you’ll see that reflected in my day to day activities.
