Fridge Voyeur is a virtual visit into the chill zone of the Spoon Crew — our team, our friends, and some of your favorite wellness peeps on Instagram. We may post a lot of soup and pretty salads but you better believe there’s a whole lot of variety, and a little naughty, going on behind closed doors. We know you want a peek ;)

Meet food and lifestyle photographer Tara Donne. As a photographer for domino, Real Simple, and Martha Stewart Living, and the editor of gluten-free Wild Apple mag, Tara’s love for food shines through every mouth-watering image she creates. Oh, and she shot every single one of the gorgeous shots in Nicole’s Soup Cleanse Cookbook. Heart swells for this gluten-free foodie.

SS: What’s the weirdest thing in your fridge?
TD: Sunscreen

SS: What’s your fave sweet and what’s your fave savory?
TD: Sweet: I don’t keep a lot of sweets around, so my go-to quick thing I like to “make” is a faux almond butter cup out of Justin’s, a good dark chocolate bar, and a pinch of sea salt. There’s nothing “cup” about it — it’s more like a little chocolate bar-almond butter sandwich. Savory: Meaty green olives!

SS: If you were one thing in your fridge what would it be?
TD: Coconut water: chill and refreshing.

SS: What is a food you cook or one that is in your fridge that is comforting or nostalgic? Although we eat to keep our bodies strong and healthy, food also connects us to our past, to friends, and to different times in our lives.
TD: My grandfather loved spaghetti with anchovies and garlic. So much so that we’d often have it on Christmas Eve (not seven fishes but at least one fish!) It’s one of my staple dishes on a busy weeknight or when I don’t have much in the house. I change it up a little with extra red pepper flakes and parsley, the zest of a lemon, and some lemon juice. Sometimes I throw broccoli or kale in too. The most important thing is that I eat it with a fork and spoon, twirling like he taught me.
