Use Your Actions

As you prepare your meal, state your actions to yourself: “I am choosing my meal. I am removing the lid. I am heating my Bowl. I am breathing while I am waiting.”

As you Spoon, continue with these statements: “I am sitting. I am eating. I am breathing. I am chewing.”

When you feel satisfied, repeat to yourself: “I am satisfied. I am energized.” How does this focus on every action affect your enjoyment of the meal and your connection with your body?

You can return to these present, affirmative statements whenever you need to better connect with yourself and stay in the now, throughout the day.
