Mindfully stretch your body before you sit down to eat. Do simple stretches, where you aren’t straining the body. The idea is not to over-exert yourself but to become aware of what is coming up in your body. If you would like, you can slowly walk in a circle around your room, feeling the weight of your body as it moves through space, noting the lifting up of each foot, sensing how it travels through space, and how it rests once more on the floor. Once you are fully in your body sit down and enjoy your meal.
